2-D: Monchromatic Emotion Painting With Tempera
24 February, 2012 Reflection
1.) The good parts of my painting are the subtle details that helped emphasise things to make them stand out.
2.) I could've done better with background since it it looks pretty sloppy.
3.) I tried to portray "swagger" by drawing a confident looking guy with the colour blue to represent being "Too Cool For School".
4.) I used blue because it's a cool colour, and my drawing follows the quote "Too Cool For School".
5.) The light areas are the skin and background, and my darks are the clothes and hair. The light background helped emphasise the person.
6.) I should have a designated cleaning time since I tended to arrive just before the bell to my next time, or I should just not make such a big mess.
7.) It came out the way I first drew it, but the background came out different since I had text in the preliminary. I chose it because I wanted to represent how much "swagger" I have.
8.) I really liked workin on this project, but I don't think we should use gesso next time.
